NERIKOMI
A cousin to marbling, is a traditional Japanese (also found in Egyptian and Chinese lineage) technique of layering clay bodies of different colors to create either an agate or a repeated pattern surface.

Kiln Rentals
I am lucky enough to have access to a kiln in my home studio. Over the years I have fired friends work, middle and high school students without kiln access, and other artists with studio practices and lack of kilns. Click the button below to see more info about my program!
ABOUT
I’m Mackenzie a ceramic artist and educator living in Philadelphia PA. I teach at many community studios including Fleisher Art Memorial, The Clay Studio, Allens Lane Art Center to name a few. I believe in the power of shared knowledge, without gatekeeping, community centered in all decisions.
